A truly unforgettable experience! The private boat ride felt peaceful and exclusive, and exploring the small hidden caves was magical. Meeting the local whisky-making family was a highlight. The riverside picnic was delicious, and the animism stories brought everything to life.

Absolutely the best tour we did in Laos. The guide was knowledgeable, the caves were fascinating, and the local encounters felt genuine. The private picnic by the Mekong was stunning. Highly recommended for anyone wanting something deeper than the usual Pak Ou visit.

Beautifully organized and incredibly personal. We loved discovering the smaller caves and hearing stories about local beliefs. The boat ride was relaxing, the food fantastic, and the hosts welcoming. This tour gives you a real connection to Luang Prabang and its traditions.

Fabulous tour and the most personal and memorable food tour we have taken. Our guide Tony was warm and welcoming and showed us a variety of places to try different foods, watch traditional dances on stage and shop the night market. Fun to travel via tuk tuk while learning more about day to day life in Laos. We highly recommend this tour and our guide Tony

Tony was super. We feed and watched the elephants get bathed in the river. Learned much about the Laos elephant's life as a beast of burden and the need to rescue the elephants from abuse. The waterfalls were spectacular and the climb to the top was not bad, just 543 steps. Lunch at a local restaurant was tasty

Anthony

Our guide Tony was well organised, spoke excellent English and had devised a full and enjoyable itinerary. An early pick up allowed us to enjoy the Elephant Village before any other tourists arrived. Bathing the elephants in the river was an undoubted highlight of our trip so far (extra cost) Feeding the elephants and getting up close to them was an experience we will never forget. The conservation work within the village was well explained by Tony including the elephant hospital and paper making from elephant dung! On our way to Kuang Si waterfall, we stopped at a Hmong village where the guide Bon gave us an excellent explanation of Hmong life with the opportunity to operate equipment used by the Hmong to grind corn, de-husk rice and fire arrows from a hunting crossbow. This was a brilliant insight into Hmong life culminating in a guided tour around a typical Hmong house.
