DESCRIPTION:

Are you ready to discover Luang Prabang as it was meant to be seen?

Step back in time and experience the timeless charm of Luang Prabang in the most authentic way possible.

Our tricycle (rickshaw) city tour offers a rare and unforgettable journey through this UNESCO World Heritage city, where history, culture, and daily life unfold at a gentle pace.

Unlike fast-moving tours, this experience invites you to slow down, take it all in, and truly connect with your surroundings. Seated comfortably in a modern, eco-friendly e-rickshaw, you’ll glide through narrow streets, past heritage buildings, and along the scenic Mekong riverside.

With a local driver guiding the way, you can relax under a shaded cover and enjoy unobstructed, close-up views of the city’s unique atmosphere.

This tricycle ride places you right in the heart of old town life. Watch monks pass by, observe local routines, and admire the beautifully preserved architecture that makes Luang Prabang so special.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION:

Your experience begins with a hotel pick-up at 08:30 AM, followed by a visit to Mount Phousi, where you can climb approximately 300 steps to enjoy panoramic views over the city.

We will then continue to the Royal Palace Museum, offering insight into the country’s royal heritage, before visiting the iconic Wat Xieng Thong, one of the most important and beautifully preserved temples in Laos.

The tour continues with a relaxing 30-minute tricycle ride along the scenic banks of the Mekong River and Nam Khan River, providing a unique perspective of local life and the city’s tranquil surroundings.

The tour concludes at approximately 1:00 PM. Lunch and drinks are included.

WHAT SETS THIS TOUR APART:

Whether it’s your first visit or a return to this enchanting destination, this slow and relaxed journey offers a very slow-paced personal connection to the city.
