🌙 Lao Home Dinner & Baci Ceremony – Evening Itinerary

5:30 PM – Hotel Pickup
Meet your driver in your hotel lobby and travel to a private home, where you’ll be warmly welcomed into a traditional Lao family setting.

6:00 PM – Traditional Lao Dinner Experience
Enjoy an authentic, home-cooked Lao meal prepared by the host family. Dinner includes a variety of local specialties such as:

• Hotpot  BBQ

• Pumpkin soup with pork, beef, or chicken

• Luang Prabang-style salad

• Beef steak

• Seasonal tropical fruits for dessert (mango, jackfruit, papaya, orange, and more)

Your choice of non-alcohol and alcohol drinks include traditional sticky rice wine served from earthenware jars and Lao beer.

7:00 PM – Live Traditional Lao Music
During dinner, a local musician will perform traditional Lao music, creating a relaxed and joyful atmosphere. You are welcome to sing along if you wish.

8:00 PM – Baci (Sou Khuan) Ceremony
Take part in a meaningful Baci ceremony, one of Laos’ most important cultural rituals. Led by a respected elder or former monk (Mor Phon), the ceremony includes chanting, blessings, and the tying of white cotton strings around your wrists to symbolize harmony, good health, and good fortune.

9:30 PM – End of the Event
The evening concludes, leaving you with lasting memories of Lao hospitality, culture, and spiritual tradition.
